Weekly Snapshot #5 - Week of September 22, 2025

         St. Elizabeth School Weekly Snapshot

Week of September 22, 2025

We are humming along with the school year as summer transitions to fall.  There are so many fun events for our families on our October calendar.  I have a feeling it is going to fly by very quickly.  Please be sure to record grades in Option C as you go along.  You should have three grades for each subject by the time conferences roll around in October.  Thank you for updating websites with Back-to-School Night presentations.  If you need help with this, please reach out.

Our next announced drill will be an Internal Lockdown Drill in October.  Please be sure to start reviewing this procedure with your classes.  This one is a bit more involved than our external lockdown drill.  Please be sure that your doors are always locked so that you can simply move the magnet and pull the door closed in the event of an emergency.

The items that were requested on the Teacher Tab are in the process of being added.  If you think of anything else that would be helpful, please let me know.  Please respond to the Sunshine Club Interest Form attached to this week’s email.

PREP (formerly EFF) Classes will be on Monday and Tuesday after school. If anything is out of place in your room, please let me know.

Please note that morning arrival duty ends at 8:05 AM.  That should give enough time to get to your classroom for prayers.  I aim for an 8:07 AM start time each day for prayers.

Please see the revised times on the times & procedures sheet that I sent last week.  I am pretty sure that it addresses everything clearly. If you have any questions, please just ask.

Words of Wisdom for the Week

"Pray, hope, and don't worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and will hear your prayer.” - St. Padre Pio

Virtue for the Month of September: Faith

All teachers are teachers of the faith in our school, so all teachers may send to the office at any time throughout the month names of students who are modeling the virtue of faith. You are also welcome to discuss the virtue of the month in any class you are teaching.  We will announce the names of those students on the loud speaker and place their names on stars which will be displayed for all to see. In this way, we share their light and shine a light on their goodness. We will get a photo at the end of the month and share with parents in our weekly communication.
