During weather events, we must follow the Downingtown Area School District's (DASD) decisions. If there is a change to the DASD school schedule, we will notify our families through the FACTS parent alert system. Please check that your FACTS Parent Alerts are up-to-date for voice, text and email.

In the event of an unplanned closing or early dismissal, please do not call the school. Please note your selection for dismissal in the event of an UNPLANNED early dismissal on your student information form in the beginning of the year. This selection takes precedence over your normal dismissal method.

When there is a delayed opening there is no morning CARES. If school is closed early, there will be no afternoon CARES. 

If you live in another school district, please be aware that if your district is delayed and we are not, we will not mark your students late. However, if the Downingtown Area School District (DASD) calls for a delay or closing, and your district is operating on a regular schedule, we will be operating on the Downingtown schedule. Please send/pick up your children according to the DASD schedule to ensure that there is supervision for them.
