Weekly Snapshot #13 - Week of November 17, 2025

         St. Elizabeth School Weekly Snapshot

Week of November 17, 2025

Hopefully the full moon or black cloud that stopped by at the end of the week will be moving past us.  We have just 7 school days remaining until a well-deserved Thanksgiving Break! Please be mindful that there are 12 teaching days left in this trimester.  Our first trimester ends on Friday, December 5, 2025.  You will need to have five grades for each subject area.  No grade below 60 may be recorded in Option C.  Please note that anything marked as X on M in the gradebook counts as a zero.  Those Xs and Ms will need to be entered as 60s if they are still missing at the end of the trimester.

Please continue to place items for the Thanksgiving Food Collection outside of your classrooms as they come in, and we will pick them up each day.  Frozen turkeys will be collected in morning drop-off and throughout the school day on November 20 and 21, 2025.

Please note that Sister Hannah will be traveling on a pilgrimage to Italy from November 9 through November 21, 2025.  You will have your class for the regular Religion classes on these days.  We hope that Sister Hannah is enjoying a wonderful and safe trip.

Please remember that your websites should always be up-to-date.  If you are having a tough time finding time for this, perhaps consider dedicating part of one prep period each week to this effort.  If you have copies that need to be made during those preps and that is what is taking time away, Teri and I are always happy to help with that project so that you can do more important work on your prep periods.  All you need to do is ask and give us directions.

We will do our Safe Environment Kid Talk lessons this week.  I will include the link to the lessons in the email with this snapshot. An Opt-Out Form was sent to parents in the last two communications.  I will resend one last time today.  If you get any of these forms back from parents, please send them to the office so that we can make arrangements with you.  Parents only return these forms if they do NOT want their children to be present for these lessons.  The lessons will be shared with all parents next week as well. Please complete the attached Google Form for when you will deliver your lesson if you have not done so yet.

Words of Wisdom for the Week

“Remember the past with gratitude.  Live the present with enthusiasm.  Look forward to the future with confidence.” – St. John Paul II

Virtue for the Month of November: Stewardship

All teachers are teachers of the faith in our school, so all teachers may send to the office at any time throughout the month names of students who are modeling the virtue of stewardship.  Be on the lookout for those students who give their time and talent to others freely.  Who is always willing to pitch in and help others?
