Weekly Snapshot #40 - Week of June 8, 2026

Week of June 8, 2026

There is only 1 Monday until the end of the school year!  We are getting closer to the finish line.   The Sunday scaries will soon be no longer. There is only 1 day of lunch remaining.  For next week, survival is the name of the game.  Please keep the students as busy as you can.  Idle hands and minds are the devil’s playground.  Try to have structured fun time with your class for your own sanity.  We will have our yearbook signing on Monday after the day has wrapped. All are expected to be back in classrooms by 2:45 PM so that we can have a normal dismissal.

Teachers in Grades 3 through 8 can remove Benchmark Assessments from Google Classroom. All grades must be finalized for students in Grades 1 through 7 on Wednesday, June 10.  All grades for students in Grade 8 must be finalized by Tuesday, June 9.  Remember that there is an extra step at the end of the year.  You need to finalize the grade for the third trimester and then finalize the grade for the year (called FINAL).  No grade below a 60 should be recorded in Option C.  No grades above a 99 can show for the trimester or final.

Please be sure that all colored sheets have been turned into the office so that Teri does not have to stalk anyone. Keep the blue checklist so you can make sure that you have everything finished that is supposed to be finished.  You do not need to take anything down from the walls of your classroom. You should have everything stored safely in a closet for the summer.  Please be sure to pull your blinds ALL the way down when you leave each day and be sure that they are closed. We appreciate your help with this.

Words of Wisdom for the Week

“If you are what you should be, you will set the whole world on fire!” - St. Catherine of Siena

Virtue for the Months of May & June: Zeal

All teachers are teachers of the faith in our school, so all teachers may send to the office at any time throughout the month names of students who are modeling the virtue of zeal. Zeal is being motivated by an intense love of God. Do you have students who are always ready for prayer as soon as you are ready?  Do you have students who jump up to help when needed?  That is zeal! Be on the lookout for those students who are enthusiastic in lessons and kind to classmates.
