Weekly Snapshot #39 - Week of June 1, 2026
Week of June 1, 2026
There are only 2 Mondays until the end of the school year! We are getting closer to the finish line. There are only 6 days of lunch remaining. Keep trying to wrap up those priority topics. Here is a link to the Archdiocesan Curriculum for your reference: AoP Curriculum Guidelines.
Teachers in Grades 3-8 should post their Benchmark Assessments in Google Classroom or Seesaw. Please do not post only the exam being given for each day. For example please only post Religion on Monday. You can schedule assignments in Google Classroom, so you can get them all set and it will push them out for you. If you need help, please ask me or Louise. We are here to assist you. I have not received words yet on how we will access the results of the assessments. I have a Principals Meeting on Monday morning.
Please be sure that you are submitting end-of-year paperwork on the dates requested. There are four sheets that were due today - Classroom Inventory (pink), Summer Maintenance (green), Classroom Supply List (lavender), and Book Inventory (yellow). Teri has folders in the office for all of your color-coded sheets. Thank you for getting your supply lists and summer reading to me on time! That really helped me a lot this week because now those things are complete and ready.
The third trimester will be over in five days. Remember that you need FIVE grades for each subject by the end of the trimester. They should not be all tests. A variety of assessments should be used - classwork, projects, quizzes, tests, etc. You should have almost all of your grades posted by this point. Please devote time during prep periods to getting grades uploaded to Option C each week. We have 5 teaching days remaining in Grades 1 through 7.
Please see the attached schedule for contract review. Father Donia will be here on Tuesday beginning at 9:00 AM. Mary Ellen and I will cover rooms so that you may speak with Father Donia. Please see the separate attached schedule for evaluation review. I will meet with you during one of your preps next week.
Please be sure to pull your blinds ALL the way down when you leave each day and be sure that they are closed. We appreciate your help with this.
Words of Wisdom for the Week
“Grant me, O Lord my God, a mind to know you, a heart to seek you, wisdom to find you, conduct pleasing to you, faithful perseverance in waiting for you, and a hope of finally embracing you.” - St. Thomas Aquinas
Virtue for the Months of May & June: Zeal
All teachers are teachers of the faith in our school, so all teachers may send to the office at any time throughout the month names of students who are modeling the virtue of zeal. Zeal is being motivated by an intense love of God. Do you have students who are always ready for prayer as soon as you are ready? Do you have students who jump up to help when needed? That is zeal! Be on the lookout for those students who are enthusiastic in lessons and kind to classmates.

If you have anyone who needs to take the test in a quiet environment, please send the students with their Chromebooks to the office. If you need a test read to anyone, please send the students with the Chromebooks to the office. Tests may be given earlier or later if students miss an assessment. If they do not take the assessment, it is also not the end of the world. If Grades 1 and 2 could send their responses to me as soon as the tests are finished each day, that would be most helpful.
Thank you for all you do to bring light to our school community!
