Weekly Snapshot #30 - Week of March 30, 2026
Week of March 30, 2026
There are only 11 Mondays until the end of the school year! We are getting closer to the finish line. Due to the short week, no formal plans are needed for next week. A survival outline is sufficient. I know some of you cannot survive without a formal plan. I totally get it, so do what you need to do to make your heart happy and your mind peaceful! Here is a link to the Archdiocesan Curriculum for your reference: AoP Curriculum Guidelines.
The third trimester will be over before you know it. Remember that you need FIVE grades for each subject by the end of the trimester. They should not be all tests. A variety of assessments should be used - classwork, projects, quizzes, tests, etc. I will be checking Option C frequently this trimester to be sure that grades are being posted regularly. Please devote time during prep periods to getting grades uploaded to Option C each week. Sending test folders home is not sufficient. The grades must be posted to Option C as well. I will not check until the week after Easter to give you time to get at least one assessment in the books.
On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, we will welcome our new students and families who have been accepted for next year to see what our school is like for Accepted Students Day. We will need some of our seasoned student ambassadors to help with the day. The day begins at 9:00 AM in the Social Hall. Kathleen will be organizing and executing the event.
Words of Wisdom for the Week
"Apart from the cross, there is no other ladder by which we may go to heaven." - St. Rose of Lima
Virtue for the Month of March: Mercy
All teachers are teachers of the faith in our school, so all teachers may send to the office at any time throughout the month names of students who are modeling the virtue of mercy. Be on the lookout for those students who show genuine care for others or those who are generally kind and forgiving. The April virtue will be JUSTICE. I made a mistake. May is zeal.
