Weekly Snapshot #21 - Week of January 26, 2026
Week of January 26, 2026
Get ready for the Snopacalypse! Thank you all so much for getting things prepped and ready to go in the event that we have a Flexible Instruction Day on Monday. As soon as I know, you will know. I am sending the regular schedule for Tuesday. If it is a two-hour delay, we are going to begin the third period and travel through the day. Trying to adapt times on a Mass schedule day will give you no time to even teach anything. Time is already short. I do not want to make it shorter. There are two classes impacted by this change for specials. I have already found a solution for that, which I will include in an email on Tuesday should we have a delay. If we are not here on Tuesday, I will give an updated look at what Catholic Schools Week will look like. That is my creative planning for the weekend.
I am still pushing this app because I feel like it is so helpful to have a handy resource on our devices that can help us escape the world for a minute and find some quiet time to reflect on what matters most. Give it a try!

Please complete the form for Professional Development when you have a minute. I feel like I sent that to teachers only this week, but I have sent 31,978 emails so I could be wrong. Here it is so you do not need to scour your inbox: Professional Development Survey
Words of Wisdom for the Week
"I think peace will be a long time coming. But our faith teaches us that we must always keep on hoping, we shall enjoy it one day." - St. Pier Giorgio Frassati
Virtue for the Month of January: Gratitude
All teachers are teachers of the faith in our school, so all teachers may send to the office at any time throughout the month names of students who are modeling the virtue of gratitude. Be on the lookout for those students who show genuine appreciation for people and things in their daily encounters. This is a tougher one to catch because you really have to focus on who seems grateful. We have so many good kids who are so kind that we can often take this virtue for granted. The virtue for the month of February is honesty.
