Weekly Snapshot #20 - Week of January 19, 2026

         St. Elizabeth School Weekly Snapshot

Week of January 19, 2026

We have made it through another week!  Spring is just around the corner. The daylight is lasting longer.  Soon the warm weather will return.  We have got this!  THANK YOU for all that you do each day.  Our jobs are not easy in any sense of the word, but you do so much for our children.  You are a blessing!

I am still pushing this app because I feel like it is so helpful to have a handy resource on our devices that can help us escape the world for a minute and find some quiet time to reflect on what matters most.  Give it a try!

  1. Go to Hallow.com/redeem on your web browser. If you have an existing premium subscription, cancel that before this step.

  2. Use code SaintElizabethParishPAGP2527free

  3. Follow the instructions to create an account or sign in.

  4. Download the Hallow app and sign in.

  5. Go to the "community tab". If you have not already, join the parish page.

  6. Start praying!

There will be an external lockdown drill at some point in time this week.  Please review the procedures with your students in both homerooms and specials.  This is the more intense of the two. Check your red folders to review.

If you are interested in helping to plan a Variety Show or teacher commercials for the Variety Show, please click the link.  This event will be held at some point this spring.  Variety Show

Words of Wisdom for the Week

“To live is to change, and to be perfect is to have changed often.” St. John Henry Newman.

Virtue for the Month of January: Gratitude

All teachers are teachers of the faith in our school, so all teachers may send to the office at any time throughout the month names of students who are modeling the virtue of gratitude.  Be on the lookout for those students who show genuine appreciation for people and things in their daily encounters. This is a tougher one to catch because you really have to focus on who seems grateful.  We have so many good kids who are so kind that we can often take this virtue for granted.
